## Get a wallet

- Server-made (opt-in): POST https://buildawallet.xyz/machine/v1/wallets/generate {"acknowledgeCustodyRisk":true}. Phrase returned once, never stored.

## Machine-native instant access

- Agent account: GET https://buildawallet.xyz/machine/v1/agent/account?chain={chain}&wallet={address}
- Agent accounting tracks x402/prepaid payments and API usage against the public settlement wallet.
- Quote: POST https://buildawallet.xyz/machine/v1/agent/quote with chain, wallet and planId.
- Pay the exact asset amount returned by the quote, then POST the transaction to https://buildawallet.xyz/machine/v1/agent/activate to receive a `baw_live_` API key.
- Metered endpoints also accept x402 v2 `PAYMENT-SIGNATURE` for direct $0.01 USDC-per-request access when the facilitator is configured.

## Prepaid access
- Pay once for a block of service units. Every metered request deducts backend units, without a blockchain payment per call. Purchases and renewals settle in USDC on Base or Solana.
- Subscribe: humans buy plans at https://buildawallet.xyz/nonhuman/dashboard (baw_acct_ keys). Agents can self-subscribe through the machine quote flow on any payment network. Wallet-signature login remains Base/Solana-only for the legacy session flow.
- Free: 1,000 units once for every new dashboard account.

## Safety
BuildAWallet never asks for seed phrases or private keys, and never signs for callers. Transactions are prepared unsigned and broadcast only after you sign locally.
